One of my earliest influences is Walt Kelly. If you want to treat yourself to some fun and funny cartoon art pick up a copy of Pogo: Through the Wild Blue Wonder Volume 1. I already have about a dozen Pogo books, but this looks like the start of a collection worth having! That, and Krazy Kat! Those gorgeous covers!
Skyfly: (n) any small to medium sized vehicle capable of breaking through a planet’s gravitational field. They are usually used by commuters between planets and moons, and not intended for interplanetary travel. Ordinary capacity is 1-4 people.

I have three very patient CK fans to draw commissions and send lots of buttons to, so don’t donate any more! I’m sequestering myself in my dark quiet place til I get them done. Then you can flood me with more work!

I want to pass along a link to Ctrl+Paint. They have fantastic Photoshop tips on digital painting techniques, and they’re explained simply so even a dummy like me can understand them!
As I try to get more arty in my backgrounds, I hope these techniques will be useful!

I’ve got to put CK aside for a short while. I’ve just got a metric buttload of work on my plate at the moment, and it needs my undivided attention. I hate doing this to my legion of fans, but sometimes you gotta make money!
I mention tablas, because I recently got myself a set to putter around with. They are wicked hard to play well. But have a relaxing sound that any doofus can enjoy.
