Sorry about that satirical digression last week! Not sure how that actually went down. Back to story now!
Nin Wah’s back to her normal costume now. Finally! And hey, lookit that, there are buttons! They’re 1.5″ in diameter, and have all your favorite Commander Kitty crew members.
Send a $5 donation for your favorite character, or $25 for all six!
All orders come with an original sketch, and a signed glossy Commander Kitty promo card. I made them for Comic Con last year, and I’ve got tons of ’em left! Thank you for your support! This newest episode will be a bit tardy. You know, the holiday weekend and all! Please stay tuned! π
Looks like Ace is known around spAce! It’s a good thing she didn’t space out for too long!
Also, are you doing anything different apart from the clothes? This is the first time I’ve seen Nin Wah, and didn’t have to forcefully remind myself that she’s a girl.
I personally didn’t have any trouble recalling that she’s a girl… though looking back through the past few comics I realized that’s not that hard to believe that someone would have trouble telling she’s a girl. …It’s probably the fact that she’s cleaned up now and she has her pink headband back… Which is a rather girlish thing as well as that her top is a more form fitting shirt than the prison jump suite she’s been wearing…. that and the second to last panel where she has eye lashes.
Ah, I see. You guys were here for the first run (which, I’ve been told, was in black and white.) You know all the characters by heart, then. It sucks to be me.
Bah, I wasn’t here on the first run-through either. I’m loving this so far though, and I can’t wait to see where the crews misadventures take them next.
Actually, I’m pretty sure he does want to move on. I remember asking him about it before and having him say that he’d rather keep the current cannon separate from the old one so as not to cause confusion. That’s why it isn’t currently up. Or at least that’s what I think I remember him saying…
Oh, and that reminds me, I don’t think I ever got a response to the second list of questions I sent him. Should I send them again or…?
Meh, Scotty will most likely come along and tell me whether I ask him to or not.
The new story is a LOT better written and coherent. After experiencing the new story the old one is lacking. So I can understand why the old one is better left forgotten.
I do have a question though for Scotty though. Why did CK lose the little green ball on his head? Too goofy? I always found it to be amusing. π

I’ve never had any trouble recognizing Nin Wah was female, even in the first run of CK when she was drawn less “curvy” (for lack of a better word).
Speaking of the first run, I hope Hushu makes a comeback. I loved that snarky mouse unit. π
I’m uncomfortable with this conversation!

Was the first run in B & W? It’s been awhile but I remember it in color. Am I getting old?…lol.
Say, it looks like you’re right!
And here probably comes Scotty to say “ZOMG! A review of the first run still survives!”

Wait… there was an earlier run? Is there any place I can read it?!
I have an archive of it but I’d rather not post its location unless Scotty says it’s okay. π
I have this strange feeling that he wants to forget it exists and move on…

That’s a shame. I’d be interested in reading it, canon or not.
I re-read most of the original CC today…

@Zorin
The deely bopper may make a comeback… you never know!
Thanks for your patience, everyone while I complete a side project. Us unfamous cartoonists gotta make money sometimes!
@Zorin: Maybe Duck Dodgers called to get it back π
Was that a reference to Legend of Zelda I see from the mouse?
Suddenly, eyelashes!
