    War-mart = hilarious

Oooohh poopie (along with those expressions and wonderful art work in that panel) – freakin’ priceless.

I can see this as an animated show too. This comic rocks.

This is all going to end in tears. No question about it. End in tears.

I like the new site design, but the last three or four strips look like they have a lot more compression artifacts. Maybe it’s just me, but the text baloons seem harder to read since the change.

As always, though, the content and art continue to be excellent and hilarious.

Andrew, thanks for the comment. I didn’t realize the site was scaling my 800 wide comics down to 660 wide. That’s probably what accounts for the distortion you see. It might be a sort of Mac/PC issue too. So I guess I will make the comics 660 pixels wide from now.
Adjusting the site to accommodate actual 800 px wide comics would be a bit too wide!
    Thanks for letting me know!
(Cause as far as compression goes, I save it at 95% from Photoshop, so I’m like ‘whaat?’)

And what’s worse for poor mister Socks is that he thinks his new little friend was teleported ON there when the space station “popped”…. Oops! We thought he was looming before… He may be pounding Commander Kitty before he even has the chance to scream “nine lives”!

    See, barrel rolls DO work.
I never liked those Triple-I guys anyways, that’s what they get for building a space station who’s one weak spot is wider than a standard torpedo. I mean, they never though to put a grill over it, or a trench before it, or a complex series of synchronized unessessary choppy-things? At least other galactic organisations make you WORK to get to the explodium.

I’m new here so forgive me for asking, but aren’t the III the police of space? Aren’t they technically good guys (law and order), even if they are antagonists (albeit not very menacing). I just don’t think I can bear to think of CK as a cop killer.

Still one of the funniest comics on the web.

    CK’s not a cop killer.

    He’s an antelope killer. 😉

Considering what assholes the Gazelle I.I.I. seem to be, I don’t have too much sympathy for them. We still don’t know what Nin Wah *actually* did to break the law, but her trial was quite a mockery of justice as was her “sentence”.

I’m sure once word gets out about what they did, though, they’re likely to quickly end up on Galaxy’s Most Wanted, and the law in EVERY system will be after the good old C.C. Pompatus.

Lazyrayfinkle, I tend to agree with Zorin the Lynx in that the mockery of justice Nin Wah recieved was an outrage, being somewhat sadistic and evil on their part (though you really can’t in all honesty blame every living soul on the space station for the ruling of a single judge. However I’m more inclined not to imagine CK as a cop-killer simply because his intention was never to destroy the entire space station, he was just having fun “popping” little robot-controlled drone ships… The space station blowing up was entirely accidental…

    ….Ooooops…

    …..Perhaps he’ll actually feel bad about it…

I’m with Zorin & Nimrond. 😉 But this its an opperunity for a new system! I.I.I was waaaayy too lazy!

I held off reading your comic for 2 years, for stupid, made up reasons. I humbly apologize.

    Exhaust port.

Everybody on that station was in collusion. Not only was the trial a complete mockery of justice, they were going to execute (space) Nin Wah over an unpaid hotel bill. And SHE NEVER CHECKED IN IN THE FIRST PLACE. Heck, they were throwing a party about it. That’s attempted murder for each and every one of them. No sympathy from me here. Even if it was an accident.
